His professional education includes instructor training through Israel’s Wingate Institute, as well as certifications in Krav Maga, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA).
In addition to his extensive background in Krav Maga, Cohen is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt and a certified BJJ and MMA instructor.
His martial arts experience extends beyond teaching. He has participated in national and international martial arts competitions, including Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournaments, gaining firsthand experience of competitive preparation, technical performance, and the demands of live opposition.

His influence therefore extends beyond the students he has taught personally, reaching subsequent generations of practitioners through the instructors he has educated.
Through KMF-AC, Cohen has developed a structured system of technical progression, professional certification, and continuing education designed to support instructors throughout their careers.
His educational philosophy places particular emphasis on the responsibility of instructors to develop technically competent, disciplined, and capable students.
